A powder room that celebrates design through rhythm, material, and form.

Rooted in organic architecture and the enduring influence of Frank Lloyd Wright, this powder room captures the essence of the residence, seamlessly extending the natural warmth and material palette of the surrounding spaces.

The design celebrates rhythm and repetition through a vertical wood ladder wall detail, stacked stone-and-wood vanity, fluted red wall tile, and horizontal light fixtures.

Incorporating a large, irregularly shaped stone vessel sink - previously purchased by the clients - posed a design challenge, but incorporating a deeper countertop allowed for extended overhangs, which creates a striking cantilevered architectural feature.

A vertical band of mirror visually expands the space, while the chrome faucet seems to disappear, evoking a serene “falling water” effect.
